European Funds Exhibition
It is also a way of underlining our country’s commitment to European objectives and the transformative impact these funds have on citizens’ lives, reinforcing the Portugal 2030 motto – European Funds Closer to You.
The European Funds Exhibition includes:
- Portugal 2030 Support Desk: a multidisciplinary team will be fully available to answer your questions and support you in accessing Portugal 2030 European funds;
- Portugal 2030 Programme stands: discover the programmes that make up Portugal 2030, along with some of the projects supported by European funds and the impact they have across the country;
- Roundtables: spaces for discussion and dialogue on current topics;
- International seminar ‘European Funds: Future outlook in the context of the 2028–34 EU Budget’: a reflection on the future of Regional Policy and the post-2027 budget, exploring the challenges and opportunities facing Portugal and the European Union;
- Project pitches: selected beneficiaries will present their experiences first-hand and demonstrate how they contribute to achieving the priorities of Portugal 2030;
- Information sessions: experts in European funding and Portugal 2030 will help clarify your questions and address practical issues;
- Entertainment moments: the programme across the three days of the European Funds Exhibition will feature activities led by funded projects.
At the 2025 edition of the European Funds Exhibition, you will also have the opportunity to take a closer look at the finalist projects of the 1st edition of the European Funds Awards, through their Presentation pitches.
This event will be attended by members of the Government, representatives of the European Commission, institutional representatives, members of academia, business leaders and civil society.
European Funds Awards
This initiative therefore seeks to increase the visibility of European funds in Portugal and to strengthen positive public perception of their use, particularly among the general public and opinion makers.
The awards also aim to contribute to improving the quality of demand, by inspiring beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries to develop projects that are more closely aligned with European and Portugal 2030 priorities, in increasingly innovative and impactful ways across their respective fields and territories.
This initiative is promoted by the Cohesion and Development Agency, I.P., within the framework of the Portugal 2030 Communication Network, with the support and direct involvement of the Managing Authorities that are part of this Network.
